Award which recognizes the nation's top elementary, junior high and high school teachers who teach citizenship education topics regularly and promote America's history and traditions.
Winning teachers receive a $1,000 cash award for both themselves and their school, as well as a plaque for themselves and the school. National winners are invited to host a training workshop in Washington, D.C. at national conference.
